Hi. I’m Kate Boelhauf. I am a St. Louis based photographer with a love for imagery that combines both the beautiful individuality of people and the atmosphere of unique midwest settings.

I am notorious for not wanting to be in front of the camera, but the super talented Shawn Kenessey can sometimes talk me into it, like in this image.

I have always loved photography, even going so far as to earn a degree in it on accident simply because I couldn’t stop taking classes. Sadly, the busyness of life took over and I didn’t make time for photography for many years.
